What we collect when you apply or subscribe, why, and how to ask us to delete it.

In short: we collect only what we need to review applications and send our newsletter. We never sell your data.

Who we are

HAVEN Equities is a student-led educational organisation. This notice covers information you give us through this website.

What we collect

  • Applications: your name, email, age, level of study, school, city and country, your written answers, any links you share, and whether a parent or guardian is aware (if you are under 16).
  • Newsletter: your email address and the page you subscribed from.
  • Site analytics: anonymous, cookie-free visit statistics (pages viewed, country, device type). These cannot identify you.

Why we use it

We use application information only to assess applications, contact applicants about the program, and run the cohort. We use newsletter emails only to send HAVEN updates. We do not sell, rent or share your information for marketing.

Who can see it

Only members of HAVEN’s leadership team who review applications can see them, through a password-less, access-controlled admin area. Data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, and the site is hosted by Vercel.

How long we keep it

We keep applications for up to two years after the cohort you applied to, so we can contact past applicants about future cohorts, and then delete them. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

Applicants under 16

If you are under 16, please make sure a parent or guardian knows you are applying. We ask you to confirm this on the form.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing havenequities2026@gmail.com. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, reply to any email or contact us.
